My screen is just blank, it wont show anything. both the interior & external screen are blan. Someone suggested it could be a result of water damage and it cant be resolved. The phone is fairly new and I dont want to scrap it. Please help me.

This sounds like a faulty hardware. i would suggest taking it to sony if its still under warranty and get it replaced. if not contact a local technician.

Do you see anything on the screen when it powers on?

try holding the power and the square at the same time till it shuts downand the apple logo shows up then release

I would try reseating the memory(located on the bottom) of the computer. Also check to see if any lights come on at all or fans as that can determine the nature of the problem. But yes this is a serious problem(most likely hardware related) and if your not comfortable with taking it apart I suggest taking it to a shop. Just make sure if they say they need to replace the part ask for the old part back.

You might want to plug in external monitor to make sure your screen did not burn out before doing anything else.Good luck and have a good day.

Quite possible that the machine is defaulting to external display only. Check your BIOS for this and try any function keys/switches that are available.

my mp3 player is just showing a blank white screen. it wont turn on, wont turn off, my computer wont recognize it, nothing. whats going on and how can i fix it? thanx. anything will help at this point.
