Thats easy to correct. Press the # * C * button, The machine will enter Sim mode. Then press 24 and start. look for the code to reset the developer maintenance code.
CH are in two forms steady and blinking CH. Steady CH is associated with door switch for either front cover or side cover. Make sure that the front cover and the right side cover are closed properly.Secondly, Blinking CH is associated with the toner cartridge or the developer unit not being sensed by the machine. Make sure that the developer unit is well locked in the machine. Pull out the toner cartridge and insert back with some force into the machine, it should clear this sign. If it does not, replace a new cartridge Sharp AR016FT. Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Good Luck! Appreciate generously, if the solution could have been of any help! CreativeTECH
Hope you are fine, ch are in two forms steady one and the blinking ch. Steady CH This is associated with door switch for either front cover or side cover. Check that the front cover of the copier and the right side is well closed. Blinking CH This is associated with the toner cartridge or the developer unit not being sensed by the machine. Make sure that the developer unit is well locked in the machine. Pull out the toner cartridge and insert back with some force into the machine, it should clear this sign. If it does not, replace a new cartridge Sharp Ar016ft and you are done. Good luck.
CH steady means cover is open. Close either front or right cover well. CH blinking means developer unit or toner cartridge not installed. Remove and return well and firmly.
Some part/ unit (developer, drum, imaging unit, fuser) or something else is
not installed properly or is not plugged into the machine. Check all
assemblies that can be removed from the copier, and make sure they are
installed and plugged in properly.
The 'ch' code will automatically
reset when the fault is found.

14. SM 5-1 should turn the lamp on. If lamp blinks on and off it
is the thermistor, if it does not it is the lamp, but check the
contacts on the lamp/fuser -- they have been known to erode.
Also check thermal fuse, if defective
replace.
