1) Disconnect from computer, turn it off, hold in volume + button and reconnect it to your computer - continue holding volume + until the Found Hardware Wizard comes up.

2)
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your iLo player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "ILO 2GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and give you a fresh start.

I have inserted the usb cable of sony cybershot DSC-W220 for uploading images to PC but the drive is not showing any folder of images

This problem happens when you scan and delete viruses from the memory card or lets say the drive of your camera. You will be able to see the images in your camera but won't be able to browse them after connecting to your PC. The best thing is to keep your Camera and its Memory Card safe from viruses. However, if your computer detects any viruses, just move to quarantine so that you can restore in future if there is such problem. Don't delete them.. Hope it helps you...

I have a problem with my mp3 player. when i try to turn it off it won't turn off. when i put the charger in the mp3 player it froze. could you please tell me what i should do.

Same thing happened to me when I deleted a song. How long has it been? I left alone. And I let the battery die. The next day it went to normal. What kind of mp3 is it? I have Phillips Go gear.

My mp3 from time to time would shut off or the screen would go black and won't shut off.

Same problem I had awhile back, make sure you don't have a memory card inside the player when you turn it on. It boots up in an incorrect order and doesn't start. To turn it off when it's stuck in that position I believe I held the sliding power button to "On" for 15 seconds.

I am not able to transfer songs to my ipod after i formatted it.why?

try checking if it has viruses.. if it has then clean it first, reformat then try transferring songs again.
if still nothing happens,
then maybe your sony players hard drive is corrupted.
1) Eject your mp3.

2) Make sure you have installed all the installers or if not try finding an installer for that kind of mp3 player because maybe you have deleted the installer of your mp3 mistakenly
.
3) Rebuild your mp3 library.

if this doesn't work then try consulting people on sony.

I try to delete songs on my I river but they never go away?!?!?

go to your music sourse on the computer and delete it from there, then make sure the file is out of your computer completely by deleting the raw file. next plug your iRiver into the computer and syncronize it to you music source, the song or songs should have been deleted. I used to have an iriver but got an hour glass that never ended when I turned it on, i fixed it but then it happened again so i got fet up with iriver and gave in and went and bought an iPod

well putting songs on your MP3 player is easy its taking them off thats the problem, so here are some easy steps to doing so. 1. plug in your MP3 player to the computer (USB) 2. go to my documents 3. scroll down to other 4. click sansa m230 5. click TCNANDO 6. then you have an option of Albums, Music, and RECORD click on Music 7. then you have the artists names and all you have to do is click the artist, then the album, and the ones you dont want you right click it and select delete 8. repet that until done deleteing songs of your choice 9. now you can add songs

Deleting songs

Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
