Some possibilities: Perhaps your cartridge isn't seated properly in the printer? Try taking it out again and restarting printer. Or, you could have a defective cartridge. Test with another cartridge.

No I do not charge :-) , but you have problems with main pcb. You need to replace it, but its same amount of money if you buy new machine. Try with Canon L160 wich is also printer.

There appears to be a problem with the paper separator. This is normally a small piece of plastic topped with a piece of cork and pushed against the paper with a small spring. Either the cork has become smooth from picking up tiny paper fragments and can be remedied by filing a small portion of the cork off (or replacing it). Or the spring may be weakening and may need to be replaced.

You can't. Just print it out.

What became of this? Our fax is having the same problem. We are getting no help from Cannon

There is a report called a Confirmation report.
Under your set up, you will find it under one of 2 headings. Either under "reports" or it may just say Confirmation.
You will have 3 settings. 1 is to print on error only. 2 will be to print always and of course off.
If you want it to never print set off, if you want it to print when the fax is NOT sent, sellect error .
