Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
I use a Compaq Armada 1598DT with only 64MB RAM - how can i upgrade the RAM to about 640 MB or higher?
How can I open the Laptop ?
Greetings from Germany,
Look at the bottom of the laptop.
With a screwdriver, open one of the "doors" that you see.
You may find an "empty" slot, where more RAM can be inserted.
However, finding RAM that will be "compatible" with your Compaq is not trivial -- if you don't understand "HOW" to do this, *STOP* and take your computer to a computer-store, and let them investigate, and sell you the correct RAM, and will install the RAM, and ensure that it works.
