If it occurs when you make an internal print like printing a status page then call a tech... if it occurs from the document feeder and/or from the glass table.. then look for black marks, white out, ink, staples or paper on either one... these can show up as black lines... when you are making copies... you can generally chip away at them with your nails or a flathead screwdriver... be gently or you could scratch the glass...

On some copiers, and` the Aficio is one, when you need toner it allows you to print one copy at a time untill you install toner.

Lanier 5645 copier - Code sc546

Try this press the "yellow/ca" botton, then enter 1-0-7, then press and hold the "red" stop" till the display changes. Once, it changes turn the Main power switch OFF. Not the one on the control pannel. Let it power down then turn it back ON. If the problem is still there try to turn the copier Off again and unplug the sorter/ finisher and turn the copier back ON. Is the problem gone, if so you may have to get a service person come in and repair the sorter. Good Luck.....

Cannon Imageclass printing problem

You need to check your glass first to make sure it has no scratches. Then you can run a copy and open door to stop paper in the center of the machine, b4 it goes through fuser. If line is on copy, you have a bad drum. If not your upper fuser roller is bad.
