I need an instruction manual for a lanier LD328c copier i need to program the scanner feature for the computers on my network

Lanier doesn't seem to have specific drivers for windows 8.1, but you may be able to use the windows 7 drivers, here:

If the toner hopper assembly is not broken the mylars inside of it have fallen off over time. The toner supply unit needs to be replaced.

Very, very common issue on these normally related to a problem in the toner hopper assembly itself.

Lanier 5618 is not a Network Copier. However, it may be installed on one PC and shared from there. Drivers are available from LANIER Official Support

Depending on what kind of finisher you have, the staples generally go in the lower left corner of the machine. You can download a product manual for your copier here:

Search for "mp c4500" and when the results come up, click the link for Manuals next to where it says "Downloads". You'll have to agree to the site's terms of service, then you can download a PDF copy of the manual, with instructions for basic use and maintenance.

You should contact a Lanier or Ricoh service technician to remove the hard drives for you, but if you have to do it yourself the hard drives can be removed by unscrewing and sliding out the controller board (on the right side of the copier). The hard drives are connected to the controller board by three screws and four connectors.

Go to the above site and download your software and a manual, the manual tells you exactly how and what to do.

On the keyboard......User tools> administrator tools>address book.
you make your changes\ additions here.
You also must have your network settings completed in user tools. DNS, SMTP SERVER, GATEWAY ect....

No, you can't reset. You'll need a tech. Here's what the manual says: Symptom (SC101) - Exposure lamp error - The standard white level was not detected properly when scanning the white plate. Possible Cause: ? Exposure lamp defective ? Lamp stabilizer defective ? Exposure lamp connector defective ? Standard white plate dirty ? Scanner mirror or scanner lens out of position or dirty ? SBU defective

I'm going by my own memory here, so you may have to fool around a bit, but this should help. Manual is hard to come by for this old beast.

Scroll to "key op. settings" (i believe you have to press "yes" or 'Ok" immediately after selecting this to access this feature??)
In there you should see settings for RTI/TTI. This is what you program for your Identifiers (use the 'quick dial' keys for entering text).
