Question about Canon PIXMA MP530 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Having had the same ink cartridge problem as a bunch of others here (solution: replace the cartridges) my brand new machine now won't scan. it starts scanning normally then stop halfway through saying it can't communicate with the scanner, error message 2,155,0. have reinstalled drivers and the whole software package, restarted machine etc. any thoughts. many thanks
1. Connect the USB cable directly to a USB port on the computer 2. Search for USBSCAN.SYS to install scan driver 3. Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to ensure a secure connection 4. Disconnect other device and reboot computer 5. Press the ON/OFF button to power on the multifunction device 6. Replace USB cable with a shorter one 7. Start the WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) Service or Stimon 8. Uninstalling / reinstalling the MP800R / MP830 / MP530 drivers (Windows)
