Question about Palm Z22 Handheld
Have two Z22 Palm units that I'm trying to sync on the same computer. Used to work, but then I had to go back to a system restore point and, afterwards, my Palm software didn't work and had to be reinstalled (uninstalled, then re-installed). Since then, the hotsync for the calendar only goes one way. If I connect mine, the Palm software on the computer gets my schedule. If I connect my wife's, software gets her schedule and it overwrites mine.
Before I do that... won't that cause the data that's on my Palm to be erased (if the data on the desktop currently reflects my wife's data)? I'm assuming the answer is "yes", since you mentioned restoring data.

Check the hot sync manager to set the flow of info from desktop to
device during the initial restoration of data to your Palm. Afterwards, once you have all your info restored, you'll want
the device(s) and desktop calendar to update each other, so make sure your settings in the sync manager reflect that, otherwise you'll continue to have one schedule overwriting the other.
Hope that helps. Let me know how you make out.

Once you lose the data on the Pal it is gone. What you might be able to do is to do a system restore on your PC to an earlier date to see if it will restore all your calendar data. If it does them do a hot sync again. Best wishes.
