I have the manual. It is 56 pages long. I can attach it to an email for you. Please be sure to include SONY ICD-P620 as the message. I will send it immediately. [email protected]
Sony does not display a driver for Win7 64 bit version on their website. I read an article to route your recorder's audio-out into computer audio-in and use basic media software. I haven't tried this myself, but sounds like a logical temp solution to issue.
This IC Recorder is not compatible with the Windows 7, Vista and Macintosh Operating Systems and at this point of time, there are no Drivers available.
However, you can transfer the files by connecting the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recording Software. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software that is pre installed in the Windows Operating System.
Put in the installation disk. Open the set up file. Then open the DVE folder. Then right click on the setup file with the logo and run it as an admin. This takes about five minutes and the computer will do an auto shut off. Then you should be up and running.
