Right click your desktop and choose properties, in there you are able to change the resolution.
change it the a smaller resolution to get larger icons and start menu, on some models this may produce an automatic scrolling desktop i.e. when your cursor is near the top of bottom of the screen it moves up or down.

this will not change the resolution in your internet browser for example, you will have to use the View > Zoom option in internet explorer.

Hope this helps. Please Rate

I ma not sure about your operating sytem installed but

for windows XP:
right click on any space on the desktop, select properties, then click on the tab called setting and change the screen resolution as you want. ( this will hold true for windows server 2000,2003 too)

for windows vista  & windows 7
right click on any space on the desktop, select screen resolution and change the resolution as you like.

if you want to decrease or increase icon size
right click on any space on the desktop, select view and change the setting from small to medium or large.

Note : all this will work perfectly or not work at all only if have installed the video graphic card driver in your system.

Signal outof range

  • Make sure the pins on the video cable are not bent or damaged.
  • Make sure there are no extension cables or switch boxes attached to the monitor.
  • Verify that you have the proper drivers installed for the video card.
  • Verify the problem at all possible resolutions and refresh rates.
  • Make sure the refresh rate does not exceed maximum value for any resolution.
  • Test the monitor on a different computer.
  • Contrast is recommended to be set at a higher range while the brightness should be set at middle range. This helps to increase the text clarity while reducing the bright background.
  • If your monitor is equipped with moire control, adjusting this may improve the clarity of the text. Moire is a wavy distortion pattern caused by interference between the dot pitch of the CRT and the picture signal. The pattern may vary depending on the screen amplitude, contrast, brightness, and other characteristics of the input signal.
  • Monitor's performance may be affected by the Earth's magnetic field. Try rotating the monitor to different directions to improve misconvergence.
  • Most video cards offer a software utility that changes the frequencies and sync polarities for all resolutions. If the setup does not match with the monitor's characteristics, an incorrect signal may be displayed on the screen. Sometimes, the image may also appear blurry.

Everything is blury have to set screen resolution to 800by600 pixels to try too make any thing out.

Connect the monitor to a laptop -- is it still blurry?
If so, then the monitor is the problem.
If not, then your computer (the video-card?) is the problem.

Can not change the number of images that can be taken

Ok, this is a very easy procedure..
While in picture taking mode, press the set button and it will activate the controls to choose the image resolution. If you select a higher image size or number, it will improve your quality of picture as the number of the resolution you choose gets higher. Simply use the side scroll and the up/down scroll on the back... that will do it for you!
