It uses 2 stroke oil during combustion as it is a 2 stroke powered engine..Sometimes it may be a small deposit of oil and the bottom of the gas container which causes this smoke or else you may have added a bit more oil than needed in the fuel..I assume it is a 2 stroke engine and also note these do give out a little bit of smoke..

My makita 6410 started first pull ,cut about three bricks now wont start, it pulls fine and sounds like it wants to start but wont, i think i may have put too much oil in, will this cause this problem,...

yes to much oil with the petrol will cause problems i`m afraid the carb is now blocked with oil and will need cleaning out problem is that the carb is micro chip controlled and it will need to be cleaned out at a repair/service center

What engine oil is recomended and what is the mix ratio for the petrol oil mix

Any two cycle engine oil will sufice, of course you get what you pay for. The ratio is 50:1. Mixture instructions are on the back of the oil container. Thanks and please rate me.

Regarding makita petrol disc cutter dpc6410- how much oil do i need to add to a full tank?

Don't add oil to the fuel tank, it doesn't mix well in there and you'll almost always use too much oil. Mix your two-cycle oil and petrol in a gas can to get a 50:1 mixture. Read the directions on the two-cycle oil bottle for how much to use and put the oil in the can first so the petrol will mix well with it as you add it to the can.

This saw can handle up to 79CCs. we can rebuild him ,bigger, faster, LOL HTH

Sometimes the cylinder can be salvaged with muratic acid. Piston kits are quite reasonable.
