Question about Toshiba E-Studio 160 All-In-One Laser Printer

Toshiba E-Studio 160

We have a Toshiba estudio 160 which has come up with the message "call for service" with no other error code, how can I reset and run as we are working in a remote area

    i have reset it so many times through diagnostics 400 but this code 47 will appear again and again after making some copies.

When the message call for service is displayed
press the C key and the 8 key at the same time
an alpha numeric code will appear eg: C47 etc
Post the error code and I'll tell you what it means

In the interim you may try the following one time to see if it is a false error... Hold "0" and "8" while turning on machine.....continue holding until machine enters service mode. Enter "400" press enter. Enter "0" press enter. Power off / on. If code returns, machine needs parts replaced. Contact your Toshiba technician (there should be an 800 number label on the unit for service. Do Not keep resetting, may cause damage to Fuser Unit.

Error Code C44 has to do with the fuser section of the copier - probably not warming up fast enough and got tripped. There is a reset function for this but it's done by the technicians, not users. Once reset it should be OK but you need to make sure that this copier has in-line surge protection as spike in the line can cause simialr problems in most copiers.
