To change the BIOS password you should know the previous password.If you forgot then any local repair vendor or Toshiba technical support can guide you only as Toshiba notebooks CMOS battery is solded on MAINBOARD so it is not possible to reset manually.

However you can try the following:
1.Five times 0
2.bios
3.phenix

I have a toshiba satellite r15-s822. I am trying to remove the bios password. I removed the rtc battery. Is there another cmos battery on the motherboard? What am i doing wrong?
To reset the BIOS read the information from this link.

In case of your Toshiba Satellite R15-S822 laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery (which is on the motherboard) or the jumper.

Fixint the swivel hinge
The following website should help you out - if the problem is just a loose hinge.  Maybe you've already seen this webpage, but here it is again anyway.

Hi , if you have WIn XP or XP SP2 click on the link below to download the touch pad drivers for Satellite R15-S822.
