If you entered the incorrect code several times you may have ruined your chances of getting radio to work. On vehicles with anti theft radio when the battery is disconnected or the vehicle looses power the radio licks and to enable it a code is needed. The dealer may be able to help you but they would need certain information. Sometimes the vin of the car or some times the radio has to be removed to get the serial number. But if the wrong code is entered after so many attempts the radio becomes completely disable. To the point where you will not be prompted to enter a code.
Hi,
You will have the code in the service manual and if you don't have the service manual thing you will need to contact Mitsubishi for the code.
Thanks
Jason
Hello there i
Most Mitsubishi vehicles are equipped with radios
that require a special radio code. This code is not
required, unless the radio is removed from the
vehicle, or the vehicles battery is disconnected. You
should always have a copy of your radio code in a
safe place, not in the vehicle itself !
If you know your code, but do not know how to enter
It into the radio: wil post some helpful information here for you
you can take your car to any Mitsubishi dealership (service department) and ask for the code. Usually, they will ask for identification to verify you are the owner of the car. This usually just includes your drivers license and registration card. Sometimes, the dealership will want to physically see the car before they give you the code. But if you don't know the code, the dealership is the only place to get it. Your owners manual will give you the procedure for entering the code once you get it.
how do i unlock the radio to enter the code
