Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize.
If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the device directly into the wall socket.
Use thepower switch to turn the device on.

Actually you three types drivers available for hp 1500 printers.

Basic drivers, full features Drivers, network Drivers. So the fluu feature software is comes with total features. You can download those drivers from below link:

That's wrong, The HPLJ1005 doesn't support windows vista.
Altough, the link cene765 is pointing to is for the HPLJ1005P which has vista drivers though these are two completely different printers. Searching the web for custom drivers now, will post solution if finding any.
