Accidentally left my tom tom 920t on SWA plane, no luck finding it through lost and found. Is there a way to see if someone is using it. It was shut off and in a cloth bag. I still have other accessories that came with it just lost the unit itself I have the serial number in my computer when I did the initial sync up with the new unit. I used it for 2 trips in January. I have emailed tom tom but can only see overseas phone numbers. any help would be much appreciated.

Re: lost tomtom920t on airliner
As far as being able to tell if anyone is using your unit as a GPS receiver, no, there is no way to determine whether someone uses it. Unfortunately, if it was left behind, someone probably gave it away as a gift.

Most airlines have their own seating plan for the planes in their fleet as compared to the same plane for another airline. the easiest way to see the seating plan for a specific plane would be to find a flight using the A320 and use the ticket purchasing software on airlines website. Just do not complete the purchase.
Did you try to reset the Tom Tom? Did you try to see if the unit is charging or fully charged (samll green light on the lower righthand corner should illuninate when charging)? I have had problems with the power connection at the base of the unit getting loose. Try taking it into the computer and getting a full charge if it is a charging problem. Not an expert but expereinced the same problem recently.
in order to get lane guidance you will need to make sure tomtom unit is up to date by checking when connected to computer for updates you will also need a version 8 map that you will need to purchase from tom tom
