Buyed xbox 360 elite 3 days ago it had problems on the first day waited 20min first time , then it had problems again had tow wait 40mins and today it wont answer at all it says reading then it says open tray it does this on all games

Try unplugging all the cables. Let it rest for a couple of minutes. Then plug everything in and see what happens.
Common problems with the xbox is overheating, RROD, corrupted video, dotted lines accross the screen.

Try contacting the store where it was bought. See if they can replace it for you. Some places have 90 days warranty.

If that doesnt work then you need to contact microsoft and fill out a repair order. I myself had 3 RRODs and they were all fixed in less than 5 days, sending it in to Microsoft.

Dont feel bad, more than half of all xboxes sold have had this issue come up. I myself had it happen 3 times with two different Xboxes. 1 original and 1 elite.

well i can help u i repaired a lot of these but e73 i dont know if this will work cuz as i can see urs is e74 but you can still try, you take 2 cure tip or stick that fits inside the back of the 360 where the fans are located, so wath you want to do is block the 2 fans with the stick but watch out so the part that is going inside is cleaned, you turn on ur 360 and wait till you get 2 red lights and then tou take of ur power cable, you plug it back in and should work, this process take about 5min, sometimes less, sometimes more, i never take off my av cable when i do this, some people say that you should take it off when u do it but i didnt and nothing hapened, and also when i did this for first time, was about 2-3 days ago i needed to repair it all the days once or twice but since 1 day i didnt need to repair it again and i played a lot with it maybe like 2 hours, 30min of cool down and after 2hours, 30min cool down so yeah maybe i fixed it for ever, let me know if it worked or not

When you get any of these messages appearing on your screen with one red light flashing on the ROL of your Xbox 360 console that's an indicator of a hardware problem with the console connection to one of the parts connected to it as the hard drive or cables.
So, first disconnect all power and AV cables from the back of your Xbox 360 console and also unplug the power cord from the wall socket, wait for a minute then reconnect them all back and try to turn on your Xbox 360 console once more.
