The manual will have assembly instructions BUT WILL NOT help you learn how to the use the telescope to find objects in the sky.

Most of these small telescopes do not have an operators manual-- however Meade maintains a web site for the telescopes with manuals. Find one similar to yours and download the manual for free.

I have the Bushnell model 78-4678 and also was looking for the owner's manual, but couldn't find it. I decided to call Bushnell at this number (800) 423-3537 and talked to tech support. I explained that the telescope was hand-me-down and needed an owner's manual. They are sending me the owner's manual for free! So far, it sounds like this is going to work!
