For the issue with the built in DVD player, I would first try different types of DVD's to see if there is a problem with one type in particular. Check the Manufacturers website to see if there is a firmware update for your model (may not be applicable for your model). Try to use a DVD cleaner disk that is appropriate for the DVD player since it operates in a vertical position rather than a horizontal one.

we have a proscan lcd tv (model 32LA25Q) and the manuel doesn't tell you what connections are for what purpose (ie. ypbpr1, etc). what does this mean?
The manual doesn't provide any hook up information. I have managed to hook up a play station 3 and W11 but can't get colour on either. HDMI cord hook up only provides audio. Very frustrating.
