How DO i GET IT WORKING

Does the webcam work locally at all?
If not, you might need to install the webcam driver first.
Once the webcam shows up as working in the Device Manager (under imaging devices), you can configure it as the video input source in the chat program.

please install the driver then plug your device
in the connectivity cable.thanks

Ok, well sometime people might not know, but there computer could be on mute, if thats not th case, then try turning up ur volume, or try to connect the voulme on the AIM when you puul up there web cam. There a V for Video and A for Audio. Hit Audio on yours and see if that works.

Ok, first you definitly want to upgrade to service pack 3. And what version of Direct X are you running this sounds like you need to upgrade that as well.

Let it install what ever moduals it needs to install and then click custom button, under optional software if there are ANY Direct x updates install them, also install service pack three it has a lot of fixes for multimedia applications and is the most stable version of xp out there.

u have put cd in the cd rom
then install duriing the installlation it will tell u plug your cam then u have to plug in your cam & your cam is redy to use

Broadband will work better and smoother for sure. If the cam has a mic, then it would work for almost any chat system you can get. You will get both video and audio.

have you set the camera up in windows live settings for both sound and video? This is in tools,audio and video set up
