There are no bulbs in this set. Only 3 crts red,blue and green. crts are probably going out. repair expense will exceed value due to age.

    Replacing the crts in a tv should only be done by a professional servicer . There is high voltage in there that you need to know how to handle.There are many alignments to be done that requires some expensive equipment. I don't mean to be rude. The crts may not be the problem and only by being with the unit and truobleshooting it could a technician determine actually what the problem is. But my advise stands from my experiance that this tv is old and would be a money pit to repair.

DO YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE FRONT OF THE VS50705 TO CLEAN THE MIRROR OR CAN YOU GO THRU THE BACK?

You need to remove front screen of TV to clean the mirror or anything inside.
Check below exploded view of VS-50705 manual to have an idea...

There is no such thing as a "vertical sweep circuit board" in that set. The vertical circuit is part of the sweep module. And BTW that type of symptom is more often a power supply filtering problem anyway.

Yes it sounds to be convergence issue .

You have convergence problem in your tv . You need to replace convergence IC . YOu can get from the link below .

Convergence ICs

You need to replace both convergence ICs .It will cost you around $30 .
The IC number is STK392-110 .
