New Samsung SCX-4521f Laser printer problem

Hi there,
I do have a brand new samsung scx-4521f printer but is not working. I have folowed all the required steps according the user guide that came with. If I put the printer on, it gives me the option to change the date and time. After changing via the num. pad i press the Enter key and it won't work. It only giving me the error message "Out of range". I can not access the menu ke either. So i don't know how to resolve this problem. Please help me. The printer part is printing via the computer. That works ok. But the copying part and the scanning part is not fucntioning. No button is reacting.
