Hello

Here is something you can try:

Check your LCD's OSD setup menu (On Screen Display = OSD).
Mine used to give similar message whenever any program was not set to LCD max resolution. It is just a reminder by manufacturer as LCD diplay works best in its native resolution (max res). Any lower resolution and screen is 'scaled' in size to fill screen area, giving less quality picture.
Drivers allow (via CCC) to turn off scaling. This way screen image gets smaller as resolution lowered but text stays sharp and in focus. So as an example on 20" screen set to 800x600 with scaling off you get a big black border all around the screen display - but the image is sharp. (Not sure why you would want to do this but thats what happens.
Unfortunately this CCC feature stopped working in 5.13 for me.

Anyway solution for me was to turn off warning in OSD.

Realy hope this can be of help.

Kind regards
Andrea

Well, do what it says - go to Display Properties in Control Panel and set your display resolution to the recommended settings. You will get a better picture quality too.

Samsung SyncMaster 710v isnt responding, keeps

Hello , this is very common problem with this model .
The problem is with main board there are two solutions:
1.Replace the main board with proper part
2.The trick you can try is to add resistor 47ohm on main board chip between two pins.
If you are not familiar with electronics do not attempt to repair it by self , go to proper service center. There is always possibility of electrolyte-shock, or high voltage shock . Hope this helps.

How to solve a samsung 710n A tft error message not optimum mode recommended mode 1280*1024 60hz in windows xp

It wants you to set the PC video card video output to its native resolution (1280*1024 60hz). Are you running the PC resolution on this mode? otherwise you can turn off the resolution warning by going into the monitor on-screen setup menu to turn off the resolution warning.

How do I change the setting on my Syncmaster monitor if I can't see anything but the message box..."Not Optimum Mode recommended mode 1280x1024 60 hz?

You could try pressing the auto adjust button (simply says 'Auto'), and see if that changes anything...don't know if this will work, but it is a start.

Not optimum mode recommended mode 1024 x 768 60hz

Hook up a different monitor and set resolution to no higher than 1024 x 768. Samsung monitor will then work fine. It appears that something fails in the monitor and it will no longer support anything higher than this.
