Question about Computers & Internet
Every time i try loading a cd my cd drive won't open easily. I have to try or pushed the opening button several times before it will open.
If you can't open the shelf, try to put a gem into the small opening in the front of the shelf, it will also be able to open the shelf in the old versions of WMP, I think^^. Good Luck! Regards, David.

If this is on your PC then try opening your CD Drive as soon as you power up. If it opens easily at this time but not AFTER it has booted up then you have a driver problem.
If this is the case I would remove the drive from the system, ie unplug the unit both power and ide cable, then reboot twice to take it out of rotation. If it is not the case, then your on board cd controller is bad, just replace the drive.
Next, after powering down, connect the CD Drive to a different IDE controller. Power on and then check the opening of the door. You will have a 66% chance of fixing your problem this way.
