Web camera Hi , i am using acer aspire 5570 & my web cam cable got broken from inside, i want to open the screen cover and reconnect the wire, how do i open the cover of my laptop

Hi,

Acer aspire has inbuilt web camera and therefore will work only if the correct drivers are installed. Please uninstall the drivers first from control/panel/add remove programs. Next reboot the system and then go ahead with the installation.

go into control panal select networking and sharing folder open it look threw all options, defualt program open look threw the fold that you want to change and what programs you want use if the future for web cam optionings.

solution 1: reinstall your yahoo messenger

solution 2: reinstall your web cam driver again.

• get your drivers from www,acerpanam.com

remove two screws on the back of the laptop where the screen opens and close. then open the cover and use a flathead screw driver to pick the top portion of the keyboard screen. unscrew two more screws and u can slide the keyboard out.

Try to unplug and plug again the camera cable. it's under keyboard.
You have to open the power cover and remove keyboard screw, you can see the wire that connect to mainboard.
If this way don't work, try to uninstall the camera application and installed again, if this is still don't work, Reload the OS.
