Hi

could you have a look into the device manager - right click on your "my computer" or "computer" which is either on your desktop or in the start menu.

Select Manage from the list.

On the left side you will see Device manager on the list click there.

Now on the right, do you see any Yellow ? marks.

Can you find the card from the list?

If you unplug the card does something dissapear from the list or if you reinsert the card does something come up?

I cannot install ethernet driver of hp compaq d530. Where can i find it?

Hello: I hope the following information is helpful.
If you are trying to install the driver for the Broadcom ethernet NIC that was pre-installed (NOT an ethernet card that you purchased and installed yourself), there is a softpack (updated driver installation) download available from HP/Compaq. It will install the driver automatically for you, just download it from the link below and run the ".exe" file.
IMPORTANT: Check to be sure that your current Operating System, and model of the network device you are trying to install, are BOTH listed below BEFORE you download!
This is a software / driver update for the HP Compaq d530 ultra-slim desktop: All Models

After the most recent HP update, my ATI 4850 now has registry issues. It no longer recognizes my second monitor and the PC only allows for basic video settings. Here is what appears when I run a check...

Yoy can find the sections in the registry with regedit from the 'run' command. That takes experienced users to deal with. Alternatively, use the device manager in 'System' and delete the display device. On re-booting it will go through the found hardware wizard and re-load the drivers.

xp, does it have service pack 3 installed? if not, it wont work right.
ever.
if yes, XP did you install all drivers for this PC from HP.com
oops they are gone...
try to know that drivers for chips below the card must be good first.
3 years old to you?
it not a 3 year old model at all. its a dead product with a square screen,.'

its an old COMPAQ, 2006 , is my guess on DATE.
looks like it has VISTA.
Vista support ended this month
and support is gone to on V3000 at HP.
if you dig deep using HP, Google site searches some lingering elements remain.

like that .
the time to get DRIVER is before its 10 years old
HP, dumps them at 10, or soon after that.

find a newer lap top that has wide screen and upgraded
it give this to the goodwill. (in fact they have newer ones cheap)

it is a COMPAQ 2006 (HP bought them out LONG AGO)

Problems with the BT-ECU2FW

Thats interesting, because I bought the same Express card few days ago for my Acer Aspire 8920G, and I have the same exact problem. I thought its the problem of windows vista, but from your post it I don't think its anymore because you are running XP.

I guess I will return the card and I suggest you do the same, and try another brand Express Card.
