1. To reset it use a paperclip rather than a needle, otherwise you will damage the plastic the reset button is made from.

to reset it press the reset button until you can feel it has been pressed and hold it for a couple of seconds.

That is it.

2. If you cannot get the disk to run download the software from the samsung website. You will get more up to date software which works better than on the disk. You will also find updated firmware.

How do i reset my eclipse fit clip plus 8gb device it keeps freezing

That could be a short in your mp3. You should be a small hole somewhere on it that says reset. You would need to get a needle or something that thin and push the button inside the hole and hold it for ten seconds. That should fix your system.

Which buttons do I push in sequence on my mp3 player so that I can unfreeze it ?

I am not real sure about the Sony Walkman but most of the MP3's I have owned have a pinhole that can be used to reset your player, If yours has the pinhole you can take a small needle and put it in and it will reset it, I have had to do it because of a corrupt file was causing me problems and the reset repaired the problem. Also have you looked in your history folder on your computer for the website you are searching for?

look for a small pinhole on the device, and use a paperclip or needle to press the reset button inside the device.
doing this should reset the device and fix your problems

Sansa Disk Clip MP3 (4gb) is stuck on refresh screen. Won't turn on or off. Computer/Rhapsody won't recognize it. Can't open to "reboot" the battery. All stuck! Thanks

Sansas usually have a tiny reset button you can push with a needle or a paperclip if you can find that, it may however be beneath the battery cover, but you should be able to remove this with a small screwdriver

My new sansa mp3 player does is not responsive to commands

If there is a reset button somewhere, push that! Typically, the reset button is very small, and you have to push it with a needle or pen.
