When i try opening my applications and games it says "resource not available" and when i try opening my facebook it says "maximum amount of applications reached when i've got nothing open

where did you save your applications? you may have saved it on your memory card, if the applications are saved on your memory card, the files may have been deleted or corrupted. or if the applications are saved on your phone memory, then it may have been deleted or corrupted.
regarding your second inquiry, you may not have enough memory left, try to delete some apps, try to turn off and on your phone, remove battery and sim card. wait for a few seconds before you turn it on. then try to access some applications.

How can i put a themes in my nokia n95 8gb?

Hi
Before installing any software go to
Menu> App.Manager> Options> Settings> Software Installation

In Software Installation make it ALL. This change is important, otherwise you will get an Error message Certificate Error. Contact the application supplier while installing most freeware

Also, if you see that some old themes are giving the Expired Certificate error, simply change the date of your phone to year either 2005 or 2006 or 2007 (check all as each theme has a different expiry) before installing the theme. After installation you can change back to today's date.
Now, here is the way to install themes and other applications in your Nokia . I use the USB Cable to do the installations.
1. First install the Nokia PC Suite software on your computer from the CD which you recieved with your Nokia
2. After Nokia PC Suite is installed in your PC, connect the Nokia to the PC with the USB cable which was provided in the box.

3. When the USB cable is connected, Nokia PC Suite will recognise that a phone is connected. You will then see an option on your phone?s screen asking if you want to connect via PC Suite or Data Transfer. Choose PC Suite.

4. Now, simply download the .sis or .java files (themes & applications) to your computer and Right Click on it with your mouse. You will see an option saying Install With Nokia Application Installer

5. Click Yes on the PC, and then Yes & Continue on the Phone when you see the prompts.
6. The phone will then ask you if you want to Install the Theme or Application in the Phone Memory or Memory Card.
I strongly recommend Installing themes in the Phone Memory! This helps in avoiding complications later on when Uninstalling.

When I first bought the Nokia N95, I made a mistake which a lot of new S60 3rd Edition users make, that is, I installed the Themes in the Memory Card instead of the Phone Memory. This was a huge mistake!
There is a bug in the Operating System of all S60 3rd Edition phones, due to which, if the theme is installed in the Memory Card, it cannot be deleted or removed, as it then does not show up in the Application Manager.
Ever since that mistake, I have made sure to always install themes and softwares in the Phone Memory, instead of the memory card. Yes, it eats up space on the phone, but it's worth it, as then it is easily removed as well.
And that's it, the theme or application is now installed!

Thanks for using Fixya.

I have forgoten my security code for my nokia e71. And i want to restore to fatory settings. the imei no. is 352925021952314

Hello
You can try to do a hard reset to restore it back to factory settings. All your contacts, messages, calls, applications, themes > everything will be gone. So BEWARE. Backup your important stuff first. Your memory card will be fine, so anything there will be saved. However, if you have applications installed on the memory card, I recommend deleted those as well.
I always tell people to install applications and themes on the phone memory always! Your phone will run faster, as will the applications. Leave the memory card for your media.
Anyways, to perform a hard reset on the Nokia E71 you do this...

Type *#7370# from the standby screen while your phone is on. It will ask for the lock code which is 12345 unless you have previously changed it. Make sure you do this right, because if you do it too many times the wrong way you can lock up your phone.
And that's it. Have fun re-installing all of your applications and themes. Hopefully this helps you out if your having problems, or if you just want to clean out your phone.
Hope this helps.

How to format nokia 6070

*On a Series 60 v1 based phone (N-Gage, 3650, 7650), two key sequences will allow to restore your phone to a cleaner state (just enter the numbers mentioned below like they where a phone number) :
> *#7780# > Normal Reset : This restores ini files from rom but preserves all your data (photos/videos, themes, 3rd party apps...)
*#7370# > Deep Reset: This will erase the C drive completely, all applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be erased and rewritten.
When using these 2 codes the phone will ask you a security code (12345 by default)

Files and applications stored on the memory card will not be affected by these opérations
On newer Series 60 phones (6600/6620/7610), the sequence is slightly different
1/ turn off the phone,
2/ press and keep down the keeys Green/talk + '3' + '*'
3/ turn on the phone
3/ when the formatting starts, release the keys (step 2)

Nokia 7610 tht has been hacked

This is because of some sort of virus. connect the phone to the PC suit and sync all the data. Then reset the phone with the code *#7380# then enter the security pass key to proceed further. Now the phone will restart. This process will take off all the installed applications in the pone memory not the storage memory. After the restart connect the phone to the PC suit to restore all the data.

Where have you installed the spiderman? if on the memory card, backup your card data minus the games, format it and restore the card data. See if that solves the problem.
