Like others, my Kenmore digital screen is showing an er dh message. We have noticed no performance issues, though. We just can't access any of the screen functions with the error message up. Model #795.77253600 Thank you for any ideas!

Hello Mike,
It means that most likely that your Defrost Heater (DH) is not working and one of the following items could be bad;
Er dH
Sensor did not get over 40 F
Faulty fuse, heater, control board
Controller assembly, defrost heater, relay on control board
Here is the whole list for your refrigerator; Kenmore Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Error Codes for 795 Models Sears...
ER dh means you have defrost issue that needs to be addressed asap. The evaporator has frosted up so badly that the circulating cold air cannot get to the refrigerator. You would need to get inside the freezer back panel and remove it to access into the evaporator coil area. Test the defrost circuits to see if the defrost terminator is broken. If it is, replace it and melt the ice build up as well.
Good luck
This is a refrigerator manufactured by LG and is well known for this type of malfunction. There should be two 1/4 inch screws on the outside of the freezer drawer tracks near the front that will allow you to pull out the entire door assembly. Once this is done and the unit is fully defrosted and unplugged, there are a couple/few screws in the back freezer panel. Once the panel is removed, this part is located on the upper right side of the evaperator coils. It is sometimes wedged in tigtly but should pull out with a good tug. Unplug the white harness, remove defective part and reverse this process. Good luck and happy shopping for the shoes.
I faced the same problem for Kenmore elite Trio Model # 795.77543600 bottom freezer refrigerator. The issue as pointed out by Medeer on fixya.com, turned out to be the part called component assembly, part number 6615JB2005H. I got this replaced yesterday but for 4 hours I did not notice any cooling... so I thought it did not work.... but then in the morning I notice that the issue has been resolved, the refrigerator is cold and there is no eR dH error message. Thanks to all who shared on this site.
