All of a sudden my left turn signal light came on and didn't flash on it's own in my '95 Volvo 960 and my hazard lights don't flash now or either turn signal flash but my left turn signal is a solid green on my dash and the bright orange is lit all the time

SOUNDS LIKE YOU EITHER HAVE A BAD T-SIGNAL FLASHER,& OR SWITCH, OR A BAD HAZZARD SWITCH,& OR FLASHER,YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK ALL OF YOUR T-SIGNAL BULBS ALSO, JUST TO SEE IF YOU MAY HAVE A BAD BULBS, IT ALSO COULD BE A BAD GROUND ON ONE OF THE T-SIGNAL BULB SOCKETS.

All four of the blinker lights are on solid and not blinking. I asume there is a short but checked for shorts and does not appear to be the problem and the fuses are good as well. Could this be a problem with the security system? Any ideas.

Thanks

My hazard lights don't flash but turning signals work

in new cars, especially premium ones have digital circuits for signals and flashers. they are seperate on BMW for instance. if only flasher is problematic reason can be the switch itself.

1999 Lincoln Continental was in for repairs and now my turn signals and break lights dont work. Im being told it's something to do with the anti theft system because the battery was unhooked. The...

I suspect there is a problem with the turn signal/ hazard switch. turn the turn signal on left or right, if it doesn't flash, grip the hazard button and gently wiggle it around, if the signals start flashing, replace the turn signal switch. The Brake lights are wired through the turn signal switch, if the 3rd brake light works, the brake switch is OK. I don't think it has anything to do with the anti theft system (at this time)

I don't know where the signal light flasher is located the signal lights don't flash

Your vehicle has 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located on the drivers side, under the dash, mounted on the drivers (Left) side of the steering column. The hazard flasher is mounted on top of the steering column. Do not get them mixed up.

Turn signals and hazard lights worked then stopped working, thinking it is the turn signal flasher? 95 volvo 960 wondering where the relay is?

if they are working then stop working you most like just have an open which can be caused by corrosion or a lose wire or the wire may be cut for any of them all you need to do to test is have the car running then wiggle the wire if problem changes then that is it and you may need to replace a wire

I have a 1994 Volvo 960 and the arrow is flashing on the dash plus the W,S,E buttons are blinking and the car won't start now. What is causing this and how can it be fixed?

The lights indicate a problem with the transmission. The fact that the engine wont start, leads me to believe that the PNP (neutral safety switch) is the problem. You will have to have the vehicle scanned to make sure.

Turn signals and hazard light not working

Sounds like the falsher unit itself is bad.
Looks sort of like a small relay, in the fusebox. Turn signals and emergency lights use the same flasher.

1998 S90 Turn signal problem

I had the same problem with a 960. I checked the rear turn signal bulbs and they were okay. I took a look at the front left turn signal bulb and the two contacts on the bottom of the bulb had melted into one contact. If you remove the bulb, the turn signal will function again when the parking or headlights are turned on, but will flash fast since there is no bulb in the socket. You may also want to check the socket of the bulb to be sure that they are not shorted together.

Hope this works.
