When i use it to print documents, multiple pages get pulled into the printer. this is a big problem when printing two sided docs. i've got a 21 page two sided doc, i can't get it to print without watching it like a hawk; when it pulls 2 pages in, instead of one, it gets the print job out of sequence. a real pain. help!

do u mean the whole multi-page doc or multiple copies of the same page?
the former would be what u tell it to print (whole document vs current page). The latter would be in the printer properties config page.
Whenever the printer doesn't pulls the paper please
pull the pack of papers, browse through the papers with your finger and
put them back gently. If it doesn't work it means the wheels that pull the paper are worn and you need to replace them.
For the second problem, this is not a printer problem but a software problem, please specify which software do you use so we can help you, as each software has individual options to print multiple pages. It will also be more logical to post the problem in the specific software area.
In printing web pages and email please try to check also the print setting before you print the page cause word document files and web pages are not the same in there printing setting. Web pages and emails has different setting so my recommendation is that when you print email and webpages next time then please check the printer settings then modify it the same settings as you wish or as your word document's output. Thanks
1. Click on "Start," "Control Panel," "Printers and Other Hardware" and "Printers and Faxes."
("Start," "Control Panel," "Hardware and Sound" and "Printers" for Vista...)
2. Then, right click on the Lexmark printer icon and left click "Properties."
3. Either on the "Advanced" tab or the "General" tab for some models, there is a "Print Processor" button, left click it.
4. This is the spool format setting. Under "Print processor" it should be set to "Lexmark *** series print processor." Next, under "Default datatype," select "NT EMF 1.008."
In this case what i would Request u to do is......... Goto Control Panel goto Printers folder......... There u will see the Lexmark Printer Icon........... Just right click on the Printer Icon and click on Properties......... Now click on Advanced and goto Print Processor......... Change it to Lexmark X1100 and NTEMF 1.0008........ Click on Apply click Ok now try to Print.......... Prints Fine............Issue Resolved........
1. Check that you are using the latest print driver - from kyocera website. 2. If the issue is when you print pdf files then make sure you set the printer in KPDL Auto mode - check the print driver settings about this and the printer menu. 3.You may check if you have the latest firmware installed within the printer - print a service status page (Menu->Others->Service).
On printers without a duplexer (a device that flips the paper to allow printing on both sides) you will have to print the first side, manually flip and print the second side. If you're using MS Word or MS Publisher you can easily configure the program to organize the pages for you:
Start a new, blank document.
-Click File, Page Setup then click the Margins tab.
-In the Multiple pages section select Book fold.
-Set your document to landscape orientation if it is not already.
-In the Inside and Outside boxes, type or select the amount of space you want for your margins.
-In the Sheets per booklet list select the number of pages you want to include in a single booklet. If the number of pages in the document exceeds the number of pages you select for a booklet, Word prints the document as multiple booklets.
-When you get ready to print make sure you check the manual duplex box (should be in the first dialog box that appears when you click on File, Print).
Word will print the first page, and then prompt you to take the pages that just printed and load them into the input tray of your printer. The trick is to learn how to orient the pages correctly for your printer.
Good luck.
