Question about Canon Rebel XT / EOS 350D Digital Camera

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT will not turn on.

My Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT will not turn on. I charged a few different batteries and I tried using different cards but it will not turn on.

It could be a number of things. The first thing you shouild do is remove the back cover and check for loose screws. If you don't find any, the problem may be a damaged battery door switch, a damaged memory card slot door switch, or worse- it may be a defective power board.

How about cleaning the battery contacts in the camera first with a pencil eraser and then, with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

Canon eos 350 rebel xt doesn't recognize usb cable

Use a separate card reader instead of the camera.

Rebel xt/eos 350D will not power on, was looking at pictures on the screen last night,tried to turn it on a few minutes later and nothing. charged battery all night, but still nothing when i switch it on....

Dropped canon rebel eos

Try this...remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on. Let me know what happened.

Bust Mode

Try switching off and removing the battery. If that fails try a different CF card

Did you switch on the camera and try clicking the shutter? did you remove the lens cover?

No Power To Canon Digital Rebel XT

Change out the CR2016 3V battery. You have to remove the rechargeable battery to get to the CR2016. Refer to the manual for proper instructions.

Had the same issue with a two year old camera. This solved my problem.
