You have to use a usb card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the camera memory card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.
Hello - You're camera has a little less than 10 MB of memory with sounds exactly right (2-3 photos) with a 12 megapixel camera. Such images are large.
You need to purchase a memory card to insert into your camera to store pictures. Your camera takes several kinds of memory cards but I suggest your purchase a SD memory card of two GB in size. You can get them almost anywhere, Super Markets, Chain Drug Stores, Places like Walmart, Kmart, etc.
It'll cost about $15 or so.

The manual indicates using memory cards of size 8 to 128 MB, so this is an early SD memory camera, following the original SD standard. Do not try SDHC or SDXC cards. The camera will support a 1 GB card. It *might* support a 2 or 4 GB card, but since this is a 2 Mpixel camera, a 512 MB or 1 GB card will allow you to save thousands of jpeg format pictures.
Hi, Sounds like a compatibility problem related to Vista. If your pics are stored on a camera card then i recommend that you purchase a card reader/writer and pop the camera card in that to transfer the pics to the computer. They are very cheap at around $2( £1) and you can get them anywhere from places like PC World, radio shack etc.
For all the camera users whose cameras won't format...they can't accept all the info on a 2 gb memory card... install a 1 gb card...worked like a charm for me! C315 and others were made before the 2 gb card. Only 1 gb cards work in the older cameras.
i don't know what year or model camera but 4 gb basically only work in 2 yrs or newer models-not all cameras support card due to diferent file format on sdhc cards-try going back to 1 or 2 gb and play it safe if they work
