Question about IBM ThinkPad T43 Notebook

1 Answer

Thinkpad- interferance Hello , I have a confuzing problem with my thinkpad T30. The problem is noise interference coming out my audio jack. Now when I play music from my TP audio jack to my stereo it sounds fine. When I hook up my s-video to my tv and watch streaming tv I get interference (like scratching n beeping noises when I open n close files n folders). There is always noise though even if I don't touch it, and it seems to react with the processer or hardrive.......anyway I don't get any noise until I plug in my s-video, but if I leave in the s-video and unplug the a/c adapter the noise goes away. There seems to be some kind of interference between the two.....The a/c and the s-video plug are right beside eachother on the laptop........ps I still get noise though my laptop speakers when the audio jack is unplug.... is it an IRQ problem or does it have something to do with my s-video cable (which is brand new) Any help would be great thanks

You should put or connect a ground line from your stuff connecting to the ground to eliminate noise.
