Tip & How-To about Audio Players & Recorders

Use a Microfone With An Amplifier (an Amplifier without a Mic Input)

There are number of Amplifiers in the market that do not support Mic function but support a lot of inputs and outputs functions for connecting various Decks,Cd Players,Record Players (Turn Tables) etc.
Now once I had this problem and I wanted to use a mic I tried to look in the front, the back and the sideways and in the catalogue but I coudn't find the solution but then I got an idea...
I thought that a mic is an output device and I need a port where I can plug it in and that port will accept the signals. All I needed was an RC connector at one end (for connecting to the amplifier) and a stereo pin jack at the other end (which goes in to the Mic.)...which infact is easily available at the store (if you know which one to look into).
Now connect it,select the input from the front and go on...sing,shout out aloud and do whatever you like to do...

where is the body control module located on 2002 cadillac deville

The body control system consists of the following 3 modules:
• The Dash Integration Module (DIM)
• The Instrument Panel Module (IPM)
• The Rear Integration Module (RIM)
Each of the 3 body control modules integrate a number of functional systems under the control of a single module. Each module is connected to the Class 2 serial data circuit, many of the control functions are implemented by Class 2 messages.

What system (S) are you having problems with ?
Rear Integration Module (RIM)
The various RIM inputs and outputs are described in the corresponding functional areas as indicated on the RIM electrical schematics.
The RIM functions include the following:
• Automatic level control
• CIGAR relay control
• Class 2 communication requiring RIM interaction
• Content theft deterrent
• Fuel door control
• Fuel level sensor input
• Heated seat control
• HVAC blower control
• LK/CYL relay control
• Park brake relay control
• Rear defog relay control
• Rear park assist chime control
• Retained accessory power (RAP) relay control
• Reverse relay control
• Transmission shift inhibit
• Trunk release relay control
• Various controls for the interior lamps

Instrument Panel Integration Module (IPM)
The various IPM input and output circuits are described in the corresponding areas as indicated on the IPM electrical schematics.
The IPM functions include the following:
• 54 volt VF display input
• Ambient light sensor input
• Class 2 communication requiring IPM interaction
• Fog lamp switch inputs
• Front HVAC air delivery controls
• Front HVAC sensor inputs
• Front HVAC temperature controls
• Fuel door and rear compartment lid release switch input
• Hazard switch input
• HUD active control
• Instrument panel lamps dimmer switch input
• Ignition switch headlight control
• Interior lamps switch input
• Key in ignition switch input
• Traction control switch input
• Twilight sentinel delay input

Dash Integration Module (DIM)
The various DIM input and output circuits are described in the corresponding functional areas as indicated on the DIM electrical schematics.
The DIM functions include the following:
• Class 2 communication requiring DIM interaction.
• Control of exterior lamps.
• Control of front fog lights.
• Control of the headlights.
• Headlamps on with wiper input.
• Hood ajar switch input w/export.
• Horn relay control.
• Interior lamps incandescent dimming.
• Low side temperature for HVAC compressor.
• Power moding control over Class 2 serial data circuit.
• Reverse lockout solenoid control.
• Steering wheel controls input.
• Storage of the clock settings and, sending a message out on the class 2 serial data circuit in response to requests from other modules.

how to connect sony bravia tv to amp

If set has RCA audio outputs, connect the outputs to an input on your amp, say aux, etc. Then set your function control to "AUX" and the audio from your set will be amplified.

I have a Fender G-DEC Guitar amp and it has an output for recording, can I connect it to the BOSS MICRO guitar input? The Fender amp has many rhythm functions which I am very familar with, besides it has plenty of built in guitar amps and various effects. Lionel

you can use the line in/mic stereo input, but you will have to turn the input level way down to around 1 or 2.

i assume that the record outputd a re rca outs. you can get a rca stereo to 1/8 inch stereo adapter, like the ones they use to connect protable cd palyers to recievers, and then get a 1/8 inch stereo to 1/4 inch stereo adapter form radio shack to complete the connection.

low mic output on BEHRINGER XENYX 1832FX

You don't indicate what type of mic you are attempting to use. From your description, I would guess that you have a mic that requires phantom power. I believe that there is a phantom power switch on your mixer. Try turning that on to see if that resolves the problem. Phantom power will not harm a standard mic. Please update this with your results.

Thanks,
Dan

add additional mics on the vocopro gigman all in one system

Putting spliiters on the input of a Mic priamp to connect to Mics to one pre is a bad idea. There are lots of techy reasons why, but the short version is "Don't Do it"

So how to solve your problem..

If you have a spare Line input you could buy a cheap external mixer, which will take the microphones and provide an appropriate level signal to your machine.

Something like this ought to do it..

If you have no line inputs, then you can use the output of the mixer into a DI Box to match the levels and use your exisiting Mic ins.

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Behringer-DI20-Ultra-DI-2-Channel-Active-DI-Box-Splitter-182481-i1125215.gc

DO NOT CONNECT THE LINE OUT FROM THE MIXER TO THE MIC INPUTS WITHOUT A DI BOX!
