To get it unlocked: Find a black (or silver) oval switch on it. Move the switch to the left and orange will appear. Your ipod will be unlocked.

To scroll through things: Move your finger around the black circle.

To select something: Press the center black button.

To shut your ipod off: Hold down the pause button (button on bottom of scroll circle) for three seconds. Then switch the hold button to the right to lock it.

To pause something: Press the pause button (button on the bottom of the scroll circle).

I hope my solution was helpful. Please rate it.

Ipod problem.

There may be the different formates that your operating system is not recognizing. You need to download and install the latest version of itune sofware in order to detect your ipod. After installing it you will be in the position to detect it with all necessar functions.

I think you need an Ipod adapter, for sale on Ebay from $35 to $50. It is a module not just ibus to Ipod cable.
