Dont need manuals just pull apart carefully remembering where all the screws go, and use a container so none get lost .... most likely it has got jammed and then confused the logic systemfor ejection sofind the motor with the rubber band that drives the eject and check that it is still on as it is common for it to come off all models and people throw them away! happy tinkering!

Remove the face plate and clean the contacts on both the head and the radio. It sounds like a bad connection, The base and head use serial data to talk to each other(control). If one of these connections are bad the unit will not work properly.

SAVV LOH-5120 The disc drive does not accept discs, ejecting them after failing to recognise them. I have tried cleaning the lense but to no avail. Is there anything I can do or do I need to get a...

Seems that the head is not working, there is no laser scanning and the possibility that the laser head can be defective.
Now certain cleaner disks will not be tracked to run for cleaning as it is not read. Hence it will reject. So it is ideal to clean manually the laser head eye using a cotton bud with gentle pressure on the lens eye.
If there is no result then watch if the CD spins or tries to spin. If so the board seems to work unless a test is taken on the main board but the possibility of a defective optical head can be the suspected fault.
If any of the above seems otherwise we must recheck with possibilities of a malfunction of the main processor board

My drawer wont eject when i push the eject button can you tell me how i can fix this

This article explains how to manually eject the disc. If the eject button no longer functions, you will likely need to have the unit repaired.

Cd player in ford expedition quit showing CD

If you can not eject cartridge
Press and HOLD eject button insert credit card or similar under cartridge.Push firmly in and move left to right untill it ejects, this will locate micro switch.
The fuse is located on the back of the stacker, this is ok because your head unit recognizes stacker.

Getting an ERR8 code on the factory tape deck. Holding EJECT for 5 seconds isn't helping. There is an iPod conversion cassette (no actual tape) stuck in there. Is there a manual release somewhere?

No, there isn't. The only way I know to remove a cassette when the 'Eject' function doesn't operate, is to remove the audio unit & disassemble it to the point you can access & manually turn the gear(s) of the 'eject' mechanism. In the process, you could possibly discover where/what the problem is and fix it.

Mazda Tribute 2001 6 CD Changer jammed. E 01 flashes. What to do?

Hi, if its the standard matsushita (Panasonic) double DIN head unit then unfortunately it's a mechanical issue, and due to the intricacy of this fine autochanger it is beyond economical repair, check: http://www.browse.to.it/c6.html for the picture, It's a new unit, to test 1st disconnect the old (broken) CD unit and check that it's the same make (ie not Sanyo) and with the same connector and that the radio functions 100% - Duncan

CDX changer has power but doesn't want to eject after flat battery

i resolved this myself in the end.
I unplugged the audio & power cables whilst the stereo and engine was running.
Then plugged back in.
I turned the engine off and stereo off as well.
I then unplugged audio and power again from the back of the CDX, left it unplugged for 10 minutes whilst the engine was still off.
I then plugged the leads back in and turned the engine on. the stereo recognised the CDX, but stayed on displaying "CD Checking". I switched to radio for 20 seconds, turned back to CDX and it selected CD 1 and has been good ever since.

I'm rather pleased with myself!
