We recently purchased a Hampton Bay 4 light and electric fan the lights need to have a smaller screw in part of the bulb these lights last only 2 weeks max , whats with this lighting fixture
I went to Lowe's with the light bulb in hand, and they told me I need to purchase them from a specialty lighting store. If you get the ones that happen to fit them from local hardware stores (light Lowe's and Home Depot) they will burn out - I've had the same problem.
Read the manual to find out which size bulbs (base size and wattage) you need.
If you did use the right type of bulb and it lasted only 2 weeks, take them back to the store where you boght them for a refund.

I dont keep garbage from what I buy and eat for weeks on end 1st off I would of had to keep the origional box from where the bulbs came from without this box its very Douptfull that Home Depot would even listen to me,
this Brings me to another issue I am now tied to Home Depot for the lights since this size bulb can only be found at home depot : o (
I do wish I knew this would of been an issue before I purchased your fixture I would of otherwise made another choice
