My camera only has a black screen. Battery fine, checked all settings, no camera lens capon. Acts like there is a camera lens cap on, completely black. However, put in another card and can see pictures taken. I have reset it numerous times.

Sony had a certain issue with the CCD chip on this camera. If it's this issue, they'll fix it free plus $20 until March 2010. I own one of these cameras and wouldn't part with it.

My Coolpix L320 was working fine, then all of a sudden got stuck with the lens zoomed all the way out and a message on the screen that says, "Turn the camera off, remove the lens cap, and turn the cam

after changing the battery and gently push back on the lens it should automatically close if not then check around it it must be something stuck in between it

Pictures coming out completely black?

So???
Is the shutter opening? Put it on slow shutter speed and wide aperture say 1 sec at f4 or wider and look down the lens as you take photo. At some point you should see the sensor as the aperture is nearly fully open. If not then it isn't allowing light to get to the sensor, but if that's all working ok (and I assume you've looked at the photos on a computer and checked they are on the card and the exif info is sensible and they are still completely black) then you have a faulty sensor or processor. Remove battery reinsert and go into menu and reset the camera settings. Report back so???

When i take a picture, my picture comes out black the camera turns on fine, batteries are charged and everything. but the screen is black. it acts as if it was going to take a picture but the screen does...

Your camera may be manifesting shutter not opening problem. It needs to get to a camera service/repair shop.

However, it's good you physically check whether the lens isn't blocked or covered with anything

I would check with Nikon and see if it's covered under warranty still. There could be something going on with the CCD unit

When i look through the lens cap or side screen it is black, and tells me to keep putting the lens cap on

Check the manual ans the use of controls.
It is likely you have the camera set to the Upload image setting.
