Sounds like either your monitor is about to break or that there is something wrong with the connection between your computer and your monitor (something wrong in the cable). Next time that happens, try to move the cable connecting your computer with the monitor. If it fixes it, you better go buy a new cable.

Hp monitor flashes solid colors

Hi there, the mode the unit is in is like self test. Try first to disconnect vga cable from pc and see if the there is notification "no signal" poping -up to see if the problem is not graphics. Anyway you can try to disconnect power cord from monitor and wait a while then try again power it on. If all this doesnt help it will be more then good advice to RMA it if still in warranty. Tnx

I have an HP7540 monitor that I need to be able to change red, blue and green colors on thru the menu

I hope you know how to enter and navigate through the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu of your monitor.
Enter the menu and navigate to 'Color' menu.
Under that select 'User'.
Now you can select either Red, Green or Blue.
After selecting a color it can be increased or decreased.
Press Exit button to go back, select the next color and set it to your liking.

I have a Soyo Monitor MTNIDYLM2286 monitor. It was working fine for 1 year. 4 months ago it lost red and blue color so I replaced the laptop computer connection cord and the color came back. I was away ...

You know if it pops back and forth this could be an indication that the video card on your PC may not be doing well. The way to really make sure is plug your monitor into another working computer and see if you have the same issue if not and the monitor works fine you may want to replace the video card for your computer. Monitors are a dime a dozen these days especially CRTs that would be how I would approach this issue. Do not invest in a repair unless it is a flat screen monitor if you are going to pay for a repair at least do it for a flat monitor I have about 23 of them in my garage giving them away they are around. Thanks for using FixYa! John

My monitor color resolution keeps changing on its own... yesterday it was going very blue now it is going very red??? help

Make sure that the cord is secured to both the computer and the monitor. Look for shorts. This is most likely a break in in of the data wires somewhere. Assuming the connection is good, replace the entire monitor cable if you can.

My TEAC PL-D2100 home theatre system, is not showing all natural colors in display since yesterday.

the red rca jack of the component output on your dvd player or the red input on the Avr component input is not plugged in properly ( loose ) or the the component monitor out to the tv may be loose. there is also possablity of cable cut. check it with another component cable or interchange the red to green to find if the problem perssts ,... to ascertian weather it is the cable.. this info should solve your prob.
