Howdy,
This TV does not have a screen saver program this type of TV does not need it. If you have a device hooked to TV such as game Box etc. They have their own screen saver program.

Good Day, Big Irish.

There is probably something stopping your system going to sleep. Do you have a cheap optical mouse that creeps across the screen when untouched or a dodgy wireless keyboard and mouse that continues to poll the USB port to keep itself and the PC awake?

My lap top goes to sleep mode and not turning on

Do you have a screensaver running? If so, try turning the screensaver off and adjusting the power options in control panels.

The screensaver options (for Vista) are in:

> Control Panel > Personalize

The Power Options (for Vista) are in:

> Control Panel > Power Options

Monitor picture turns on its side when it goes to screensaver

Sounds like your screensaver is using a picture of your desktop in it's code intentionally.

Right click on a blank area of your desktop --> select properties

--> click screensaver --> change it to "none" or another screensaver

Dell monitor screen jumps and screensaver won't ever turn on.

first turn hibernate off. this is probably causing problem with your screensaver. when you say your screen jumps that leads me to believe that your monitor is probably on its way out. If you can try to hook up a diffferent monitor and see if you have the same results

Error Tab

Turn off the, or better yet uninstall, the Acer Screensaver. Something you installed, possibly a screensaver program? has corrupted the Acer screensaver causing that error message. That add-on screensaver is notoriously buggy anyway.
