The numbers etc around the silver oven dials have worn off Is there a way to replace these? Also the oven timer doesn't work properly. It doesn't keep the time and switches off in minutes. Will replacing this knob fix that problem or is it more sinister? Thanks

Look in yellew pages for a Zanussi dealer, you will need mod number,,serial number, and er number, all of which are on the rating plate found at the front of the oven.

On the 720EF the numbers are recessed behind a small glass panel, so I think you are not talking about the same unit. If all else fails, I suggest you buy an oven thermometer from say Lakeland - they are about 4 to 5 pounds and are good. Run the oven, making a note where the marker is and see what temperature the thermometer gives.
Failing that, run the oven with the thermometer in all the time and experiment to see what the control; knob is pointing at for any given temperature.
