Hi!

Please download this software for converting your dwg, dxg,etc files into jpeg---

Dwg to jpeg Converter

And, regarding printing in black color only, you need to give it a print command and the click on prefrences button and from there select print in grayscale and then you will be able to print.

No start up disk
Hi,

You can download this software:

It is the driver (software that allows your printer to communicate with your computer) for the printer...simply download and install it.......your printer will be up and running!

I have a lexmark x4270 but no start up cd how can i get it to print
Since when this problem started.. have you install new cartridge in it?

Check the cables and resume power again and let us know.. also check if any Print spooler services are showing any error messages.

Check for any entreies marked in the device manager for Printer or USB connection.

Get me back as soon as possible to fix the problem

Lexmark 4270 will not install
I believe this will fix it for you as it did for me. I have a Lenovo laptop that updated from XP to Vista and the Lexmark 4200 X4270 All in One Printer would not print or scan. I had to do the following:
1. Delete all printers in control panel.
2. Do full update with Vista install disk
3. Make sure cable to Lexmark is not attached to Laptop until Vista does full update
4. Download the updated Lexmark Driver for whichever version of Windows you are running from the link provided below.
5.Install item in #4
6. Plug in cable to Lexmark and put the Lexmark SW installation disk in and it should finish itself for you.
