Yes, you need to have memory stick because camera has limited internal memory that can store few pictures only.
Put new memory card, format it through camera Menu and copy internal memory pictures to memory stick, take our memory card from camera and delete internal memory pictures either one by one or format internal memory through camera Menu.
Thanks.

Yes. Apparently the internal memory is pretty small and the high resolution images can eat up the space very quickly. Read the specifications and check for the maximum size of the memory card your camera can support. Atleast 256-512MB is recommended(My 12 mega pixel cam eats up close to 1MB per image).

Regards,
Sai.

Cant find out how to charge up the battery of my sony cybershot dig camera DSCW180 0578924

The camera should have come with a BC-CSG charger. Remove the battery from the camera and put it into the charger, and plug the charger into a wall outlet.

"No memory space on internal memory"

Go into the setup menu and scroll to "setup" and follow the on-screen instructions. You may also want to format the internal memory with your memory card out of the camera.

I purchased a Sony cybershot DSC- S930 and inserted the Lexar memory stick (supposedly compatible with a sony camera) and upon turning the camera on there is an error message stating there is not internal...

Hello,
The camera does not recognize the card because

1. Card not compatible
2. Camera cannot handle such a large capacity.
3.Card not inserted correctly.
Maybe a recent firmware update can address the 2nd limitation.

Hope it helps.

I have a a Sony Cybershot, I have taken all of the photos off the memory disk and it is saying No memory space on memory stick. Why?

How about reformat the memory stick. all stored files and folders will be destroyed after you format it. Eventhought you have taken all of the photos, you may have accidently recorded a video which has taken all of the memory space.

If it did not help, try a different compatable memory stick. If you got the same problem reinitialize your camera to the defaults.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
