I have the USB cable that connects the phone to computer, and my computer recognizes the new hardware, but it appears that I need a software program to allow the WP computer to read the photos in the Samsung. Is this true? If so, any suggested programs. I tried without success to get a Samsung program.

1. Get the Data Cables No Tax, Free Shipping, & just a couple of dollars from thecellshop.net. My wife & I got our cables from them in less than a week recently. My wife's cell has a connector marked USB, & on mine, my USB Data transfere cable plugs int the same spot as my charging cable. The USB cable will also charge your phone from the USB connector on your PC.
2. Check with the Datapilot web site. See IF they support your model of phone. There is also the Samsung PC Studio, BUT, same thing, make 100% SURE they have your particular model supported BEFORE you buy.
One other way is if your phone supports Bluetooth. If it does, then you can get a USB Bluetooth for your PC & transfer stuff without your cell provider charging you, ugh! You can 'usually' send Bluetooth to Bluetooth from your phone to your PC, but there are exceptions, so check it out first, or make SURE you can get a full 100% fun on your USB Bluetooth in case yours is one that does not work right. It happens sometimes.
What you need to do is get pc suite. I actually have the disk and could make you a copy and mail it to you for 5.00 this has everything you need and millions of wallpapers and ringtones to choose from. what is nice is it provides a very nice interface for transfering files from phone to pc and pc to phone. you can also sync your outlook contacts to your phone. if interested paypal me at: [email protected] and anyone who wants a copy needs to paypal 5 dollars and be sure you put your address somewhere where i can find it and I will hook you up with the cd, you will love the things you can do with this. you must have your own usb cable though.
