I cant connect my samsung S5233 to my laptop - Samsung Star GT-S5233 Cell Phone

The Samsung GT-S5233 does not support Wi-Fi connectivity. This would explain why you can't sign on to internet at hotels, coffee shops, home, etc. Your only internet connection is through the GPRS WAP gateway for your network. If connection speed and downloads are your intent, you may need to upgrade your phone. the WAP protocol on your handset was written in 2002, using a mobile browser interface. Not many websites currently support mobile browser scripts since the advent of smartphones which have full browser capability. Perhapse this worked (without New pc studio, But install samsung Drivers from CD).

Solution: In your cellphone go to Settings---> Phone settings---> PC connections and select Media player option (or Ask on connection). Connect your cable (if you select Ask on connection option, you should response to your cellphone and select Media player option )and when the cellphone connected, open the My computer. Perhapse you can see your cellphone there.

you have not provided the problem you are facing while connecting. firstly you have to have bluetooth driver installed in the laptop. be sure of it. better download a fresh one and install it. now turn your bluetooth device on . turn on bluetooth of the phone aswell. now search for devices in the laptop. choose the device and select the service you want. its simple. sometimes it requires pairing. hope you know how to pair it. thanks.

To connect to internet through your mobile GT-S5233 you need to install PC suite and need to subscribe to packet data.

You can download the PC suite from below website

To subscribe to packet data you need to contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office.
They will send you the settings for your model. Please save the settings to your phone and set it has a default settings.Then you can start using the internet in your phone.

After doing this two you can connect to the internet using mobile as modem.
