I recently bought a new YP-K3 and it will not turn on, all it does is charge. Also, whenever I attempt to install the portable device onto my computer it doesn't work and comes up with : "An error occured during the installation of the device The specified service does not exist as an installed service." The portable device does not come up at all on the Samsung studio.
I had this problem and it looks like a lot of people do, i fixed it by using the reset button on the back (just press and hold for a few secs) it turn straight on and none of my files were wiped
Do you have mediaplayer 10 or 11 installed?
Media player 11 is seriously screwed up software and will cause your computer not to recognise the player

You will need to remove ALL traces of media player 11 from you computer.

I just received a Samsung YP-K3 for my birthday 2 days ago. It was working properly when I received it. Today, my battery died and I had put it on the charger. When I took it off the charger, it will not cut on. I pressed reset and the power button simultaneously, and to no avail, it did not work. So what should I do??
