Range rover cartridge that holds dvd & cd's will not eject.

You might find it cheaper to replace CD , than get it repaired , check it out , look at Yellow Pages for local repairer.

The ejection system in the dvd player went bad. Get a new one. Or you can have it fixed but its easier to replace.

Open "COMPUTER" hold cursor over the Device CD/DVD right click scroll down to "EJECT" and click.

try taking out radio and getting another power source .if that doesn t work get a new radio. good luck

if you can not eject cartridge
PRESS AND HOLD EJECT BUTTON
Insert credit card or similar under cartridge push fully in and move under cartridge,this will locate micro switch and eject
Then you can check discs

if your hold the eject button down for 10-15 seconds it should force the cd out. you may have to get a pen or pencil to stick in the cd slot when the cd tries to jam out to spread it apart to get the cd out.

If you get it out you need to get it replaced or fixed cuz eventually they wont come out or play.

if you push the eject cd magazine button on the changer does it sound like it's trying to eject it? if it doesn't you'll need to replace the changer. if it does, then you've got a stuck cd magazine tray. it sounds weird, but when i was working on land rovers this happened all the time on the full size range rovers. what we did was push the magazine eject button on the changer to eject the cd magazine and sort of slap the changer around a bit. 90% of the time it worked. the other times, we'd go in with a 90 degree pick and try to push the stuck cd tray back into the magazine (while it was still in the changer) while pushing the eject magazine button on the changer. and you'll need to replace the cd magazine. if it happens again, you'll need to replace the entire changer.
