It could be as simple as something just poking out of the pipe from the filter to the impellor, big enough to get through the filter, but not big enough to be moved out by the impellor, remove the filter, and the impellor, and poke something through the pipe, a drinking straw or such like will work...

It depends on how bad the wear is. You can trim the roughness off the impellor with a craft knife. Also check the stator impellor housing for damage as well and try to flatten or scrape off any bits of roughness where it shouldnt be. Make sure the motor impellor is pressed firmly together before re-fitting to the stator.

Hope this helps

Fisher and Paykel DD603 can't be drained completely

https://www.manualslib.com/manual/575481/Fisher-And-Paykel-Dishdrawer-Dd603.html?page=22#manual this link takes you to the service manual for your machine, there will be details on manually testing individual components, you should be able to operate the pump and check that it is performing as it should, page 39 describes the process to lift out the rotor, do that and check the rotor impeller, this is the drain pump, if the rotor vanes are broken you will need to replace it,

My dishwasher impeller failed----just was loose in the drawer. i ordered part 525884P, motor rotor assy which has arrived from new zealand. but, there were no instructions on how to remove previous...

First fold the racks on the side of the drawer up out of the way

Then Remove the cutlery basket

Then with the drawer fully open grab the main rack from the front and pull upward, You will need to persuade it past the rinse aid dispenser but it will go.

Lift off the wash arm

Remove the small food trap on the bottom by lifting it out

Then rotate the outer ring around the wash motor, this will allow you to remove the large stainless tray in the drawer bottom.

To remove the impeller grab the plastic housing and twist counter clockwise.

Installation is just the reverse of the above.

I hope this helps.

DD603H is making a sound like gear wheels slipping.A rattling sound when trying to wash.

HI- Probably the Motor Rotor is bad or there is some glass in the rotor. Remove the large screen in the bottom of the drawer (turn lock-nut counter clockwise) and remove the motor rotor (turn outermost plastic part counter clockwise). Look at the bottom of the rotor, you will see the impellers, these are often chewed-up and rough. If so you'll need to replace the part. Also look the the well you removed it from and check for any glass pieces or debris. You should be able to order this part directly from F/P. Motor Rotor. Hope this helps.

My dishwasher is model DD603 and it turns on by

There is a water leak in the bottom housing and a leak sensor detects to give a F1. Pull out the tube and put your hand in the front from the left ( only on this side has enough room to access) with the small towel to dry out the water on the bottom housing. After dry out, unplug the power for at least 24 hours so the sensor can be dried out and reset. However, make sure to fix the leak from the top seal, otherwise, it keep happening.

Excessive motor noise all parts in place correctly DD603 bottom dishwasher won't turn on top dishwasher just makes noise

Disassemble the pump and check the impeller. I would bet it's broken and the noise is caused by pieces rattling around. (I'm inferring that the part on top that isn't turning is the spray arm; that won't turn if there isn't any water spraying out of it.)

I need to repalce the elctrical supply cord and water supply line to my Fisher & Paykel DD603 dishwasher, but I'm unsure as to how to remove the terminal box cover. Could you please help? Thanks.

THIS IS SIMALAR TO THE BOSCH UNIT, IF THERE IS NO BOTTOM COVER TO REMOVE YOU NEED TO TAKE THE SCREWS OUT OR THE TOP INSIDE THAT HOLD IT TO THE COUNTER TOP, PULL THE UNIT OUT SLOWLY, TURN OFF THE WATER SUPPLY SHOULD COME OFF THE HOT SIDE OF YOUR FEED LINE TO THE FAUCET UNDER THE KIT SINK, THE WATER SUPPLY IS ON THE LEFT LOOKING AT IT AND THE ELECTRIC IS ON THE RIGHT IF YOU CAN PULL IT OUT ABOUT 8 INCHES YOU CAN GET TO BOTH CONNECTIONS TO BE ABLE TO DISCONNET PULL OUT ALL THE WAY GET BEHIND IT AND CHANGE WHAT EVER YOU NEED TO

E-mail for Fisher Paykel DD603 manual

Josh, you will need to have a Tech out to look at it... F/P will not sell you parts to repair it. The F1 indicates that the flood switch has been tripped. There are many possible causes for this but probably the upper drawer link support has broken and is getting stuck between the lid and the drawer in which case you will need a new lid and link support.
